Each key tracks first-check attempts, errors and a correct-answer streak. ✓ means three clean attempts in a row; it is a practice cue, not a certification of mastery.

How this practice works

Review the consonant song: what you are practising

Connect the letters from KR100-01 with their keyboard positions. Listen to each letter name before trying the same letter on the keyboard.

Start with a clear model. Copy a few prompts, then choose “Next key only” or “Hide keyboard” when you feel ready. In “Fade as I learn”, a key’s Hangul label becomes faint after three consecutive clean first-check uses. You can restore all labels any time. On a touch keyboard, all labels stay visible because the keys are also your input controls.

Listening mode uses existing Korean recordings. Sets without a complete set of recordings stay in copy mode. Hints that reveal the answer are hidden during listening; the screen keyboard remains a neutral input surface.

Accuracy compares the jamo in your first submitted attempt with the target, using edit distance. Revealing or skipping counts as an incorrect attempt. Speed counts jamo in correctly completed answers, including compound-vowel and final-cluster components, divided by elapsed minutes. Shift is a modifier, not an extra jamo; spaces are excluded. Thinking and correction time count. Compare records within the same stage, input method, practice mode and hint setting.

Your key map, completed sessions, best records and learning-day streak stay in this browser. They do not sync between devices; private browsing or clearing site data removes them. Answers and result cards are not uploaded by this app. “Clear saved progress” removes the typing app’s local records.
